Veseli nas, da ste se odločili ter se pridružili vse večjemu mednarodnemu občestvu wikipedistov, sodelavcev Wikipedije. Predlagamo, da sprva pogledate krajši uvod, ki vam bo pomagal narediti prve korake pri urejanju ene največjih spletnih enciklopedij. Če potrebujete pomoč, si preberite Pomoč:Vsebina ali pa se obrnite na dejavne uporabnike, administratorje. Lahko pa svoja vprašanja postavite tudi Pod lipo (o Wikipediji) ali Oraklju (splošna vprašanja). Urejanje lahko preizkušate v peskovniku, prej pa si preberite še vadnico.
Začnete lahko tako, da si ustvarite svojo uporabniško stran in dodate svoje ime na sezname Wikipedistov. Svoje prispevke na pogovornih straneh (ne pa tudi v člankih!) samodejno podpišete z uporabo štirih tild (~~~~); s tem se bo dodal vaš podpis in datum.

Manjša urejanja uredi
Prosil bi te, da označiš urejanje kot manjše (v kvadratku pod oknom za urejanje) če dodaš samo kakšno ime ali interwiki v seznam. Pa izpolni povzetek urejanja da se bo vedelo iz seznama zadnjih sprememb kaj je bilo to (ni treba komplicirat, nekaj takega kot "+1" ali "iw" je dovolj). — Yerpo Ha? 12:53, 5. marec 2011 (CET)

Povzetek urejanja uredi
Prosim, navadi se na izpolnjevanje rubrike "povzetek urejanja", ki se nahaja pod urejevalnim oknom, da se že bo lahko iz pregleda zadnjih sprememb vedelo, kaj spreminjaš v člankih (ni treba, da je opis spremembe zelo podroben, dovolj je beseda ali dve oziroma ustrezna kratica). Seznam nemških pisateljev in podobni uredi
Živijo. Ko ravno vidim, da dosti urejaš sezname ljudi po poklicih... Menim, da bi bilo treba dati Predlogo:Seznami poklicev za narode na dno vsakega članka, pod Predlogo:Seznami narodov po poklicu. Pravtako bi jo bilo treba spremeniti v Navpolje, tako da bi bili obe predlogi potem skupaj, saj sta sorodni. Nekaj podobnega sem (vsaj začasno) napravil pri Seznamu slovenskih svetnikov, saj mi je predloga postavljena zgoraj spreminjala slog tabele.
