Thus renewals must be checked for the years 1959-1966 inclusive.[9] "Part 1: Books and Pamphlets" and "Part 2: Periodicals" were manually checked for 1959-1966 inclusive using the queries "Massachusetts Institute of Technology" and "Technique" in Archive.org. No renewals were found. Thus the copyright for the yearbooks for 1932-1937 inclusive were not renewed, indicating that the copyright for the portrait has expired.
