Usage

This template creates a {{cite web}} citation to Gold/Platin-Datenbank, the official Gold/Platinum database of Bundesverband Musikindustrie.

Parameters

The template accepts the following non-mandatory parameters:

• artist - artist or band name
• title - title name
• type - one of album/single/video/all
• best - by default, only the best award is displayed. So for example, if an artist was awarded both a Gold and a Platinum, only the Platinum certification is displayed. If you want to disable this behavior, for example if the certification history is of importance, set this field to no. This might also come handy in some cases where the database behaves strangely (see below, the example Eminem's Stan).
• accessdate - date in which the site was accessed
