Uvedba je potekala po načinu t.i. »velikega poka« - dvojni obtok evro gotovine in tolarjev je trajal 14 dni. <br />Dvojno označevanje cen se je pričelo 1. marca 2006 in je trajalo do 30. junija 2007.
