Adolf Eichmann was a "Para-military person" (as a officer of SS, a part of the Nazi Party), and no a "military person", a soldier of the Wehrmacht, the German Defence Forces (w.o. the Waffen-SS, a combat branch of the SS - became the de facto the fourth branch of the Wehrmacht).
